Brenscheider Muhle in Nachrodt-Wiblingwerde

A touch of Sweden in the romantic Nahmertal south of Hohenlimburg: the historic Brenscheider Mühle, built in 1845 by Johann Dietrich von Hagen to produce oil from rapeseed. Under monument protection since 1982. The old grain mill is nearby and a restaurant next to it. Scenic surroundings, after the death of many dark spruce trees (which looked unnatural as a monotonous wood plantation anyway) today with more beautiful views. Along the stream uphill, a solid forest path past a fish pond, up to the beautifully situated Mesekendahl game reserve. Recommended excursion area in "Nahmer Switzerland", where you can find some species, including grass snakes. Below towards Hohenlimburg trout farm.

Terrible frozen food. Simply fried in a lot of fat. Not crispy, just bad. French fries extremely salty .... a shame ....

Very idyllic restaurant with good cuisine and pleasant staff

Would like to rate the food, unfortunately there was nothing to rate. Wanted to have dinner there with friends {on a moped tour}, was not possible at 6.30 p.m. The landlord gave us very harshly to understand that he had no more desire and on top of that he didn't need to. So we made two visits to this restaurant at the same time: the first and the last. Never again

Excellent small restaurant with a pleasant menu. Delicious fish from the ponds next door. In summer a really cool beer garden between the big hills in the green. It's best to take a long walk from the parking lot opposite and then off to the beer garden to refresh yourself stärken 😋 😋

Were there for dinner with our friends, as a local you may know that there is a restaurant but as a traveler you have a hard time finding the restaurant (I only say behind the mountains at the seven dwarfs). But the restaurant is very idyllic. Now we come to the meal, portions are good size, everything that was ordered and eaten was delicious across the board. We sat so that we could look into the kitchen and I was very enthusiastic about the cleanliness and the organization of the cook. And finally everything at humane prices.

Even though we were there very early, the two cheaper meals on the menu were gone. However, the beer garden is very cozy and scores by the location. The two pieces of cake we ordered instead were delicious. A trip there is worthwhile.
